Sub:    West Bengal Inter District Badminton Championships - 2019 to be held at Mahadesh Parishad, Rabindra Bhavan, Nabagram Konnagarh Hooghly on 21^st to 23^rd November, 2019

Organised by:          Hooghly District Badminton Association in association with West Bengal Badminton Association

Dear Sir,

We are pleased to inform you that West Bengal Inter District Badminton Championship-2019 will be held in the Indoor hall of Mahadesh Parishad, Rabindra Bhavan, Nabagram Konnagarh Hooghly from 21^st to 23^rd November, 2019 (On 21^st November Matches will be held from evening session). Tournament will be organised by Hooghly District Badminton Association in association with West Bengal Badminton Association.

The matches will be conducted as per the following format:

1)        Men’s Singles                        -           1^st Match

2)        Women’s Singles                 -           2^nd Match

3)        Men’s Doubles                      -           3^rd Match

4)        Women’s Doubles               -           4^th Match

5)        Mixed Doubles                      -           5^th Match

Each District will consist of maximum Four (4) Men, Four (4) Women and One (1) Coach – cum – Manager.  A Player cannot play more than Two (2) Events.

You are requested to send the entry along with Entry Fee of

Rs. 1000/- and the team list of your Inter District Team on or before Saturday the 13^th November, 2019 (before 5 P.M.).  If entry fee is paid in DD / Cheque, the same may be drawn in the name of “WEST BENGAL BADMINTON ASSOCIATION”. 

The Contact persons are Sri Tanmay Banerjee (9433409453), Sri Asoke Kr. Dey (9432284215) & Kashinath Ghosh (9433031195). They will help the Participating Districts for arranging accommodation (payments to be borne by Districts Concerned).

A Canteen will run during the Championship at the venue. Teams may have their food on payment during the Championship.

Please also note the following:

1)     The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry, if incomplete.

2)        The Tournament will be conducted as per BAI / WBBA rules.

3)        Code of conduct of WBBA will be strictly followed.

4)        List of Hotels will be given in WBBA website.
