Dear Sir,

Please note that “Yonex – Sunrise W.B. Senior State Ranking Badminton Tournament” which will be held from 7^th March to 10^th March, 2022 in the Indoor Hall of CSIR – CMERI Staff Club, Durgapur organised by CSIR-CMERI STAFF CLUB, Durgapur under Paschim Bardhaman District Badminton Association supported by West Bengal Badminton Association.

You are requested to send the entries to the undersigned through Online Portal only of the Registered Players of your District on or before Saturday the 26^th February, 2022.  No Offline entries will be accepted.

The Entry Fees of Rs. 600/- for Singles & Rs. 1000/- for Doubles may be transferred through online to “CSIR-CMERI STAFF CLUB”, A/C No: 33940638029, IFSC Code: SBIN0014545, Bank Name: State Bank of India, C-Zone Branch, Durgapur-713209  OR by A/C. Payee Cheque / DD in the name of “CSIR-CMERI STAFF CLUB” OR Cash may be deposited in the Office of WBBA from 12 Noon to 5 P.M. (Working days only).

In terms of the Authoritative Guidelines, following precautionary processes shall have to be strictly followed without any deviation and co-operations and support from everyone is sincerely solicited:

1)         Due to the prevailing Pandemic situation, all players, Technical Officials and the  Committee Members of the Organisers including WBBA personnel, who would be required to be present in the arena of the Tournament as also the nominated permitted Coaches of the participating Players must compulsorily produce either “Double Vaccination Certificates” or “RT-PCR Negative Test Reports” obtained not before 72 hours of respective date of entry at the “Entry Gate”. Irrespective of there being accepted Entries, failure to ensure compliance of the above by any Player shall debar entry in the Arena of the Tournament and/or participation. Appointed  Personnel posted at the Gate are to be satisfied with Vaccination Certificates/RT-PCR Negative Test Reports as well as Photo Identity Cards of everyone, before permitting entry to the arena of the Tournament. No one without proper “Mask” would be allowed Entry.

2)                Participating Players may be allowed to have only One Coach  & One Guardian to enter in the arena of the Tournament.  No sooner the Match of a Player is over, he/she along with Coach & Guardian would have to leave the arena of the Tournament without least delay. No ‘handshaking’ or ‘embracing’ would be permissible. Any default of the above or any part, may debar further participation in the Tournament.

3)                 Covid guidelines of State Govt.  & Central Govt. will also be strictly implemented.

Please also note the following:

1)           The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry if   incomplete.

2)           The Tournament will be conducted as per BAI/WBBA rules.

3)           Code of conduct will be strictly followed.

4)           Date of withdrawal:   28^th February, 2022

 5)          A Player cannot participate in more than two (2) events.

6)        LIVE Telecast of matches will be done through YOU TUBE as per the Link given in the website.

7)        In the event of any withdrawal or non participation by a Player in any Tournament, after draw is finalized and notified, the concerned player shall be compulsively required to pay Rs. 750/- to the Association before participating in the next Tournament.

8)      Non participation fees must be paid to WBBA before sending the entries as per list given in WBBA website.

Please note that the Umpires’ Examination will be held during the above State Ranking Tournament in Durgapur on 8^th & 9^th March, 2022 of present Trainee Umpires & freshers.  Please send the names of persons from your District who are preferably Ex players or have knowledge & passion in Badminton.  Names should reach our Office on or before Tuesday the 22^nd February, 2022 (before 5 P.M.).

The candidates are to reach Durgapur on 8^th March morning and leave Durgapur on 9^th March evening.  No T.A. will be paid.  Arrangements for accommodation and fooding will be made.
