Sub:    81^st West Bengal Senior State Badminton Championship – 2018 to be held at Raipur Club, Ramgarh, Garia from 29^th August to 1^st September, 2018

We are pleased to inform you that we are organising 81^st West Bengal Senior State Badminton Championship – 2018 (Men & Women) to be held in the Indoor Badminton Hall of Raipur Club, Ramgarh, Garia from 29^th August to 1^st September, 2018 supported by Raipur Club, Ramgarh, Garia.

You are requested to send the entries (as per format given earlier) along with entry fees of the Registered Players of your District with ID No. on or before  Saturday the 18^th August, 2018 (before 5 P.M.).  Cheque / DD will be in the name of â€œWEST BENGAL BADMINTON ASSOCIATION”.

Following Events will be organised:

1)        MEN’S SINGLES

2)        WOMEN’S SINGLES

3)        MEN’S DOUBLES

4)        WOMEN’S DOUBLES

5)        MIXED DOUBLES

The Entry Fees will be Rs. 400/- for Singles & Rs. 700/- for Doubles.  Names of the Contact Persons are Sri Dipak Nandi (9874842976) and Sri Tanmay Banerjee (9433409453).

Please take care while sending the entries considering the following decisions:

1)       For all the events i.e. Singles, Doubles & Mixed Doubles, all players of the State must participate in a minimum of 50% State Ranking Tournaments (in the event of any uneven numbers of Tournaments, the greater value would be considered for calculating the percentage) and in default the concerned player shall not be eligible to participate in State Championship.

2)       Districts forwarding names for Doubles partnering players from other Districts   should have NOC or otherwise names of same pair should come from both the Districts, failing which the entry will not be considered and the entry fee will not be refunded.

3)       In the event of Withdrawals or non participation by a Player in any Tournament/ Championship after draw is finalised and notified, the concerned player shall be compulsively required to pay Rs. 500/- to the Association before participating in the next Tournament/Championship.  The due list is given in this connection in the website.

For Current Bengal Players (outstation), we shall be paying Rs. 500/- per day per player for the Number of days of participation plus one day extra for fooding & lodging expenses.  In case of Current Bengal players (Local), Fooding expenses @ Rs. 200/- per day per player for the Number of days of participation will be given.

Please note the following:

1)        The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry if incomplete.

2)        An event with less than Six (6) entries will be cancelled

3)        The Tournament will be conducted as per BAI/WBBA rules.

4)        Code of conduct has already been circulated and given in our website will be strictly followed.

5)        Last date of withdrawal is Monday the 20^th August, 2018 (before 5 P.M.).
