As Proposed by Tournament Committee Fifteen (15) Tournaments have been approved
2) “Star Badminton Academy”, Harinavi, Kolkata under AK Sports & Event Management will be considered as “APPROVED & RECOGNIZED BADMINTON ACADEMY OF WEST BENGAL BADMINTON ASSOCIATION”.
3) Coaching Camps of Forty four (44) selected players of various age groups which was stalled due to Pandemic situation will start in following different venues as proposed by Sri Nirmal Kumar Ghosh, Chairman, Coaching Committee:
a) 1st Camp at Raiganj for Thirteen (13) Trainees from Jalpaiguri, Uttar Dinajpur, Dakshin Dinajpur, Darjeeling & Malda
b) 2nd Camp at Paschim Bardhaman or Purulia for Twelve (12) Trainees from Paschim Bardhaman, Paschim Midnapore, Purulia, Hooghly
c) 3rd Camp at Kolkata for Nineteen (19) Trainees from North 24-Parganas, South 24-Parganas, Howrah, East Calcutta & Central Calcutta.
Venue and accommodation will be provided by the Organising District and Fooding + Shuttlecocks + Coaches’ remuneration and travelling expenses of Coaches would be borne by WBBA. It was also decided that since the selection of Forty Four (44) players was before the Covid Pandemic situation, the players fitness and other parameters should be checked in the Camps with due eliminations, as be required.
4) It may be noted that due to Revise Advisory issued by Government of West Bengal, RT-PCR Test and/or “Double Vaccination Certificate” are not mandatory. However, social distancing, wearing Mask and hand sanitization be continued. It is also advised that players above 18+ may take Booster doze as announced by Government.
