Sub:     83^rd West Bengal Sub – Jr. & Jr. State Badminton Championship (U-13/15/17/19 Years Age Group Boys & Girls Singles) in the memory of Late Dindayal Kalyani & Late Tara Shankar Bhattacharjee to be held at the Indoor Stadium of Uttar Dinajpur Badminton Association, Raiganj from 14^th November to 19^th November, 2021

            Organised by:  Uttar Dinajpur Badminton Association in association with West Bengal Badminton Association

Dear Sir,

We are pleased to inform you that 83rd  West Bengal Sub – Jr. & Junior State Badminton Championship (U-13/15/17/19 Years Age Group Boys’ & Girls’ Singles) will be held from 14^th November to 19^th November, 2021 in the Indoor Stadium of Uttar Dinajpur Badminton Association, Raiganj to be organised by Uttar Dinajpur Badminton Association in association with West Bengal Badminton Association.

You are requested to send the entries to The Hony. General Secretary, WBBA through Online Portal only of the Registered Players of your District on or before 3^rd November, 2021.  No Offline entries will be accepted.

Following Events will be organised:

The Entry Fees of Rs. 500/- per event may be transferred through online to “West Bengal Badminton Association”, A/C. No. 33016869887, IFSC Code: SBIN0007679, Bank Name: State Bank of India, New Garia Branch OR by A/C. payee Cheque / DD in the name of “West Bengal Badminton Association” OR Cash may be deposited in the Office of WBBA from 12 Noon to 5 P.M. (Working days only).

 In terms of the Authoritative Guidelines, following precautionary processes shall have to be strictly followed without any deviation and co-operations and support from everyone is sincerely solicited:

1)                Due to the prevailing Pandemic situation, all players, Technical Officials and the named Committee Members of the Organisers including WBBA personnel, who would be required to be present in the arena of the Tournament as also the nominated permitted Coaches of the participating Players must compulsorily produce either “Double Vaccination Certificates” or “RT-PCR Negative Test Reports” obtained not before 72 hours of respective date of entry at the “Entry Gate”. Irrespective of there being accepted Entries, failure to ensure compliance of the above by any Player shall debar entry in the Arena of the Tournament and/or participation. Appointed  Personnel posted at the Gate are to be satisfied with Vaccination Certificates/RT-PCR Negative Test Reports as well as Photo Identity Cards of everyone, before permitting entry to the arena of the Tournament. No one without proper “Mask” would be allowed Entry.

2)                Participating Players may be allowed to have only One Coach to enter in the arena of the Tournament, subject to however, the name of the Coach must be notified in writing to the Referee before commencement of the Tournament. No sooner the Match of a Player is over, he/she along with nominated Coach would have to leave the arena of the Tournament without least delay. No ‘handshaking’ or ‘embracing’ would be permissible. Any default of the above or any part, may debar further participation in the Tournament.

4)                 Covid guidelines of State Govt.  & Central Govt. will also be strictly implemented.

Please also note the following:

1)           The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry if   incomplete.

2)           An event with less than Six (6) entries will be cancelled

3)           The Tournament will be conducted as per BAI/WBBA rules.

4)           Code of conduct will be strictly followed.

5)           Date of withdrawal 5^th November, 2021

 6)          A Player cannot participate in more than two (2) events.

7)           Entry fee forwarded with wrong age group will stand forfeited and if the concerned Districts intend to change the age group to other appropriate group, additional Entry Fee has to be paid.  In the event of any withdrawal or non participation by a Player in any Tournament, after draw is finalized and notified, the concerned player shall be compulsively required to pay Rs. 750/- to the Association before participating in the next Tournament.

8)           Due to Pandemic situation created by Covid-19 the Tournament Committee has decided that this year there will be no restriction in participation of players i.e. all can participate in the State Championships.

9)         LIVE Telecast of matches will be done through YOU TUBE as per the Link given in the website.

West Bengal Badminton Association will not be held responsible directly or indirectly for any loss of life / damage / illness / injury in connection to participation in Sub-Jr. & Jr. (Singles) State Badminton Championship to be held at the Indoor Stadium of Uttar Dinanpur Badminton Association from 14^th November to 19^th November, 2021.  All Athletes / Officials / Vendors have to participate on their own risk.
