Sub:    81^st West Bengal Sub – Jr. & Jr. State Badminton Championship to be held at the Indoor Badminton Hall of Suri, Birbhum from 16^th July to 20^th July, 2018

            Organised by: Birbhum District Sports Association in association with West Bengal Badminton Association

We are pleased to inform you that 81^st West Bengal Sub – Jr. & Junior State Badminton Championship will be held from 16^th July to 20^th July, 2018 in the Indoor Badminton Hall of Suri, Birbhum to be organized by Birbhum District Sports Association in association with West Bengal Badminton Association.

You are requested to send the entries alongwith entry fees of the Registered Players of your District with ID Numbers on or before Friday the 6^th July,2018 (before 5 P.M.).   Cheques / DD will be in the name of “West Bengal Badminton Association”.

Following Events will be organised:

Entry Fees will be Rs. 300/- for Singles and Rs. 500/- for Doubles.

Please take care while sending the entries considering the following decisions:

1)         The Players must have participated in a minimum of 50% State Ranking Tournaments (in the event of any uneven numbers of Tournaments, the greater value would be considered for calculating the percentage) and in default the concerned player shall not be eligible to participate in State Championship. 

2)        For participation in Sub – Jr. & Jr. State Championships, the Players should win at least “One round” in one of the Sub – Jr. & Jr. State Ranking Tournaments in the respective events organized by WBBA prior to the State Championships.  

3)        Districts forwarding names for Doubles partnering players from other Districts   should have NOC or otherwise names of same pair should come from both the Districts, failing which the entry will not be considered and the entry fee will be forfeited.

4)        Entry fee forwarded with wrong age group will stand forfeited and if the concerned Districts intend to change the age group to other appropriate group, additional Entry Fee has to be paid.  In the event of any withdrawal or non participation by a Player in any  Tournament,  after draw is finalized and notified, the concerned player shall be compulsively required to pay Rs. 500/- to the  Association before participating in the next Tournament.

5)        Non – Participation fees of the earlier tournaments as notified in the website should be sent along with the entry fees, which is a must as otherwise entry will not be considered.

6)        A Player cannot participate in more than three (3) events.

7)        Organiser will get Two (2) Wild Card entries in each event.

The Organiser will pay Rs. 500/- per Player per day to the Current Bengal Players (Outstation) for the Number of days of participation plus One day extra. In case of Current Bengal Players (Local), Fooding expenses @ Rs. 200/- per day per head for the Number of days of Participation will be given or otherwise Fooding for the Number of days of participation will have to be provided.

Please note the following:

1)        The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry if incomplete.

4)         Code of conduct has already been circulated and given in our website will be strictly followed.

5)        Last Date of Withdrawal is Monday the 9^th July, 2018 (before 5 P.M.).
