Sub:    82^nd West Bengal Sub – Jr. & Jr. State Badminton Championship - 2019 to be held in the Mini Indoor Stadium, Silpasamiti para, Jalpaiguri from 6^th to 12^thAugust, 2019

Dear Sir,

We are pleased to inform you that “82^nd West Bengal Sub – Jr. & Junior State Badminton Championship – 2019” will be held from 6^th August to 12^th August,2019in the Mini Indoor Stadium, Silpasamiti para, Jalpaiguri to be organized by Jalpaiguri Indoor Games Players Association under JDBA in association with West Bengal Badminton Association.

You are requested to send the entries alongwith entry fees of the Registered Players of your District with ID Numbers on or before 25^th July, 2019 (before 5 P.M.). Cheques / DD will be in the name of “West Bengal Badminton Association”. Any Affiliated Unit desires to give the entry in person, can do so between 12 Noon to 5 P.M. (Monday to Saturday except holidays).

Following Events will be organised:

Entry Fees Rs. 500/- per event.

Please take care while sending the entries considering the following decisions:

1)         The Players must have participated in a minimum of 50% State Ranking Tournaments and in default the concerned player shall not be eligible to participate in State Championship.

2)         For participation in Sub – Jr. & Jr. State Championships, the Players should win at least “One round” in one of the Sub – Jr. & Jr. State Ranking Tournaments in the respective events organized by WBBA prior to the State Championships.          

3)         Entry fee forwarded with wrong age group will stand forfeited and if the concerned Districts intend to change the age group to other appropriate group, additional Entry Fee has to be paid.  In the event of any withdrawal or non participation by a Player in any  Tournament,  after draw is finalized and notified, the concerned player shall be compulsively required to pay Rs. 500/- to the  Association before participating in the next Tournament.

4)         Non – Participation fees of the earlier tournaments as notified in the website should be sent along with the entry fees, which is a must as otherwise entry will not be considered.

5)        A Player cannot participate in more than two (2) events.

The Organiser will pay Rs. 500/- per Player per day to the Current Bengal Players (Outstation) for the Number of days of participation plus One day extra.  In case of Current Bengal Players (Local), Fooding expenses @ Rs. 200/- per day per head for the Number of days of Participation will be given.

Please note the following:

1)         The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry if incomplete.

2)         An event with less than Six (6) entries will be cancelled.

3)         The Tournament will be conducted as per BAI/WBBA rules.

4)         Code of conduct will be strictly followed.

5)         Last Date of Withdrawal is ­­27^th July, 2019 (before 5 P.M.).
