Sub:     W. B. Junior State Ranking (U-17/19 years Age Group Boys & Girls) Badminton Tournament to be held in the Indoor Hall of “Star Badminton Academy”, Harinavi, Kolkata -700148 from 8^th November to 12^th November, 2022

                                    PRIZE MONEY: RS. 1,60,000/-

Dear Sir,

We are pleased to inform you that we are organizing “W.B. Junior State Ranking (U-17/19 Years Age Group Boys & Girls) Badminton Tournament” in the Indoor Hall of “Star Badminton Academy”, 69, D. N. Street, Harinavi, Kolkata – 700148 from 8^th November to 12^th November, 2022.

For your ready reference, we are giving below location details of “Star Badminton Academy”:

1)     From Nazrul Metro Station (Garia) to Harinavi more is approximately 7 Km. through N.S.C. Bose Road

2)        From Harinavi more the Academy is approximately 800 Mtr.

3)        From Subhasgram Railway Station the Academy is approximately 1.5 Km.

You are requested to send the entries to WBBA through Online Entry Portal only of the Registered Players of your District on or before Monday the 31^st October, 2022.  No Offline entries will be accepted.

Following Events will be organised:

The Entry Fees of Rs. 600/- for Singles & Rs. 1000/- for Doubles may be transferred through online to “West Bengal Badminton Association”, A/C. No. 33016869887, IFSC Code No: SBIN0007679, Bank Name : State Bank of India, New Garia (Srinagar) Branch OR by A/C. payee cheque / DD in the name of “West Bengal Badminton Association” OR cash may be deposited in the office of WBBA from 12 Noon to 5 P.M. (Working days only).

Entry fees must be deposited by 31^st October, 2022 positively and the deposit confirmation slip mailed to the Hony. Treasurer as otherwise entry will not be accepted.

It may be noted that merely sending the Registration Papers for new players will not mean that they will be able to participate in this State Ranking.  Players will be allowed to participate once their Registration papers are approved by WBBA.

Please note the following:

1)        The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry if incomplete.

2)        The Tournament will be conducted as per BAI / WBBA rules.

3)        Code of conduct will be strictly followed.

4)        Date of Withdrawal:  01.11.2022

5)        A player cannot participate in more than Two (2) Events.

6)        LIVE Telecast of matches will be done through YOUTUBE as per the Link given in the website.

7)        In the event of any withdrawal or non participation by a Player in any Previous Tournament, after draw is finalized and notified, the concerned player shall be compulsively required to pay Rs. 1000/- to the West Bengal Badminton Association before sending the entries.

8)        Yonex/Sunrise being our equipment Sponsor, no other Sports Manufacturing Company will be allowed to display banners or put up stall in the hall and also within 200 Mtr. of the venue.
