Sub:      West Bengal U-13 & U-15 Years age group (Sub Junior) State Badminton Championship to be held in the Mini Indoor Stadium of Jalpaiguri Indoor Games Players’ Association, Jalpaiguri from 25^th July to 30^th July, 2026

Organised by: Jalpaiguri Indoor Games Players’ Association under JDBA in association with West Bengal Badminton Association

Dear Sir,

We are pleased to inform you that “West Bengal U-13 & U-15 years age group (Sub Junior)  State Badminton Championship” will be held from 25^th July to 30^th July, 2026 in the Mini Indoor Stadium of JIGPA, Silpasamiti Para, Jalpaiguri to be organized by Jalpaiguri Indoor Games Players’ Association Under JDBA in association with West Bengal Badminton Association.  Please also note that for the first Four (4) days i.e. from 25^th to 28^th July, 2026 matches will also be held in the Jalpaiguri Town Club Stadium, Hakim Para, Jalpaiguri.

You are requested to send the entries to WBBA through Online Entry Portal only of the Registered Players of your District on or before Friday the17^th July, 2026. No Offline entries will be accepted.

Following Events will be organised:

The Entry Fees of Rs. 1000/- for Singles & Rs. 2000/- for Doubles may be transferred through online to ”Jalpaiguri Indoor Games Players’ Association”, A/C. No. 0790209300000152,  IFSC Code: PUNB0079020, Bank Name: Punjab National Bank, Branch Name: MaskalaibariOR by A/c. payee cheque / DD in the name of “Jalpaiguri Indoor Games Players’ Association” OR cash may be deposited in the office of WBBA from 12 Noon to 5 P.M. (Working days only).

Please note the following:

1)      Players who have not paid Administrative Fees for non-participation / withdrawal from All India Ranking Tournaments as well as for non-participation in WBBA Tournaments, no entry for such Players will be accepted.

2)        If any player deposits the entry fees directly to WBBA A/c or in the A/c. of JIGPA, the same will not be considered and shall be forfeited.

3)        The tournament will be conducted as per BAI/WBBA rules.

4)        An event with less than six (6) entries will be cancelled.

5)         In the event of any dispute during the Championship, the decision of the Tournament Referee will be final.

6)        Code of conduct will be strictly followed.

7)        Last Date of Withdrawal:  18^th July, 2026

8)        A player cannot participate in more than Two (2) Events.

9)        10)      If a Player is shown “Yellow Card” in any match, he/she would have to pay Rs.250/= per Yellow Card and Rs. 500/- for each Red Card.

10)      Any player/pair shown “Black Card” by the Umpire in any match, shall be disqualified from participating in all subsequent matches so entered in the Tournament and shall not be permitted to be present in any part of the Venue.  In addition, on receipt of a Report of a Black Card, necessary Disciplinary Proceeding may be initiated by the Disciplinary Committee based on the gravity of misconduct. Such Player/Pair shall not be eligible to play in any subsequent Tournament unless exonerated by the Disciplinary Committee.

11)        The Fee for lodging any ‘Protest’ of any kind arising out of or related to any Match of a Tournament shall be non-refundable amount of Rs.2,000/=.   Protest must be in writing addressed to the Referee and lodged within “one hour” after completion of the Match accompanied with the ‘Protest Fee’. No Protest beyond the time limit and devoid of deposit of the ‘Protest Fee’ shall be entertained. Either the Referee would resolve the issue on the spot and if incapable or unable to do so, forward the same to the Association for necessary redress.

12)      Yonex/Sunrise being our equipment Sponsor, no other Sports Manufacturing Company will be allowed to display banners or put up stall in the hall and also within 200 Mtr. of the venue.

13)      Fixture will be drawn at the venue on 24^th July, 2026 in presence of Players and Organisers.

14)       If despite a Player furnishing all particulars and requisite “Entry Fee” for any WBBA Tournament/Championship, the concerned affiliated Member fails or neglects to forward the same to WBBA within the timeline, the said affiliate Member shall have to pay “penalty of Rs.1,000/=for every Singles Entry and Rs.2,000/= for every Doubles’ Entry to WBBA, in addition to the actual Entry Fees to be given to the Organizer AND to assist the concerned affected Player, WBBA shall at least Six (6) days before every Tournament/Championships, upload the “List of Entries” of the intending participating Players received from the affiliated Members, in its Website AND the concerned Player whose name would be ‘missing’ from the List shall have opportunity to approach directly to WBBA with “proof of deposits” with the affiliated Member, within 24 hours of the published List
