Sub : Important decisions taken in the Tournament Committee Meeting held on 8th July, 2026
Dear All,
Please note that following important decisions taken in the Tournament Committee Meeting held on 8th July, 2026:
1. Due to change in 3 x 15 Scoring System in Tournament, following decisions were taken:-
a) Sr. Ranking Badminton Tournament / Championship can be held in Five (5) days considering minimum Three (3) Badminton Courts.
b) For U-9 & U-11 years age group Tournaments, if there are Three (3) Courts, Number of days will be Four (4). However, in case the number of Courts are Two (2) then the number of days will be Five (5).
c) Since there will be huge entries for U-13 & U-15 and U-17 & U-19 age group Tournaments, present system of Six (6) days may be kept.
2. As requested by South Calcutta Badminton Association, the forthcoming U-17 & U-19 State Badminton Championship–2026 was allotted to South Calcutta Badminton Association.
