Sub : Vaccination drive for the registered players (18 plus age onwards).

Dear All,

We are all seriously concerned about continued severe Covid 19 Pandemic, which has taken away lives of millions in the Country and normal life has come to a total standstill. Everyone is panic stricken and having dire psychological impact. 

Even though it is medically advised that everyone above 18 years should get vaccinated, we don’t have easily accessible and sufficient available Centres. Lots of young boys and girls are roaming around to have vaccinated. 

In this unprecedented situation, WBBA has felt that it should attempt to undertake vaccinating all its associates so as to provide medically required immunity to fight the pandemic now and if at all its forthcoming third wave, as informed. As a first step forward all registered players above 18 years age group to be provided with vaccinations. 

This could only be achieved with the help, cooperation and active assistances and participations of all affiliated Members. 

PROPOSAL

While WBBA is ready and most willing to bear 50 percent of the entire expenses, the affiliated Units to bear 50 percent of the expenses of vaccinations 

IMPLEMENTATIONS

District Units, other than mentioned below,  to make their own arrangement with any local Hospitals/Centres and provide vaccinations to their respective registered players and WBBA to reimburses 50 percent expenses OR send the Players to WBBA designated Hospitals at Kolkata for vaccinations, in which case, immediate expenses for such vaccinations to be provided by WBBA and the concerned Districts to reimburse 50% costs to WBBA and also to bear travelling and lodging expenses of the players. 

For Kolkata based Units and a few adjoining Districts such as North 24 Parganas & 24 Parganas-South, Hoogly, Howrah and Chandernagore, WBBA would tie up with Private Hospitals to extend vaccinations along with their own channels to the concerned registered players.

As the issue is extremely urgent and alive, please inform your valued views about the above implementation procedure of Vaccination within Monday the 14th June, 2021 as we intend to complete the vaccination at the earliest and if possible within 30th June, 2021.

Let us all join hands for this essential human cause and try our best without least delay. 

In the meantime, please inform the players about this vaccination drive and advise them to send the copies of Adhar Cards to you.
