Dear All,
We are giving below the important decisions taken in the WBBA Council meeting held on 16th May, 2026 for your ready reference:
1. Ex-Players who have represented University and accredited under WBBA Coaches Panel may be recommended by Coaching Committee after going through the credentials and capability thoroughly for consideration of BAI for BAI Coaching Courses. It will be completely on the discretion of BAI.
2. With immediate effect for each Yellow Card, there will be a fine of Rs. 250/- and for each Red Card, there will be a fine of Rs. 500/-.
3. Prize money for all WBBA events revised with immediate effect as under :

1	Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament & State Championship.	Rs. 1,50,000/-
2	Under 17 and 19 Ranking Badminton Tournament and State Championship.	Rs. 2,30,000/-
3	Under 13 and 15 Ranking Badminton Tournament and State Championship.	Rs. 2,00,000/-
4	Under 9 and 11 Age Group Tournament	Rs. 1,00,000/-

4. Badminton League will be an Inter-district Badminton League and the format and Team Structure has already been circulated. All affiliated units will have to bear only lodging and train fare for their teams.
