1. If
despite a Player furnishing all particulars and requisite amount for
“Registration” as per Rule 25(a – c) of the Constitution, the concerned
affiliated Member fails or neglects to register the Player with WBBA within the
timeline, the said affiliate Member shall have to pay “penalty of Rs.5,000/=
per Player to WBBA. This would be effective from registration period of 2026.
2. If
despite a Player furnishing all particulars and requisite “Entry Fee” for any
WBBA Tournament/Championship, the concerned affiliated Member fails or neglects
to forward the same to WBBA within the timeline, the said affiliate Member
shall have to pay “penalty of Rs.1,000/=for every Singles Entry and Rs.2,000/=
for every Doubles’ Entry to WBBA, in addition to the actual Entry Fees to be
given to the Organizer AND to assist the concerned affected Player, WBBA
shall at least four (4) days before every Tournament/Championships, upload the
“List of Entries”of the intending participating Players received from the
affiliated Members, in its Website. AND the concerned Player whose name would
be ‘missing’ from the List shall have opportunity to approach directly to WBBA
with “proof of deposits” with the affiliated Member, within 24 hours of the
published List.
3. In order to safeguard no conflict of
interest or any presumption of bias or favoritism in any form or manner, and to
maintain complete neutrality and impartiality as per the ‘Laws of Game’, no
registered UMPIRE undertaking any Coaching assignment of any registered Player
participating in WBBA Tournaments/Championships shall be provided with any
assignment as Technical Official with immediate effect and shall not be
permitted renewal as ‘registered Umpire’ of WBBA unless provided with a sworn
Affidavit affirmed before a First Class Magistrate affirming no coaching
assignment of any registered Player participating in WBBA Tournaments/Championships
and will not obtain any such assignment during registration tenure. The Format
of the Affidavit shall be provided by the Association.
4. It has been decided to provide adequate numbers of
Umpires during Ranking Tournaments / Championships so that they can also be
used as Line Judges considering the importance of the matches.
