The Selection Trial for Senior (Men’s & Women’s) for East Zone Inter State and National Badminton Championship has concluded. The Trial was held at Star Badminton Academy from 18.06.2026 to 19.06.2026.  After the selection (as per The Guidelines of Selection Committee) The Bengal Team for both (Men’s & Women’s) are as follows :

INDIVIDUAL EVENT FOR EAST ZONE INTER STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

MEN’S SINGLES / WOMEN’S SINGLES/ MEN’S DOUBLES/WOMEN’S DOUBLES/MIXED DOUBLES:

No. 1 and No. 2 Players will participate in Individual Singles event. If there is any injury to the No. 1 and No. 2 ranked Players then Coach of the said team will take the decision to submit the entry of individual events. This rule is applicable for all the events.  For pair event, the No. 1 ranked team will participate in the Individual events.

Selection Committee has unanimously decided Sri Ayan Paul will be the Captain of the forthcoming East Zone Inter State & Individual Badminton Championship.

Note :  Players whose names are in the Team List and shown Red Card & Yellow Card during the Tournament /Championship have to pay the fine of Rs. 500/- for each Red Card and Rs. 250/- for Yellow Card respectively within  26^th August, 2026. As per the WBBA regulations, the concerned Players will be dropped out from the East Zone Team if the fine is not paid within the prescribed date.
