Decision of the Disciplinary Committee

Sub:   Reported participations of Ms. Sreyasi Biswas and Ms. Priyanka Mahato in unauthorised Tournament.

Based on replies submitted by the above players to the respective Show Cause Notices, necessary detailed enquiries were undertaken and the documents including Fixture and Results of the concern Tournament were scrutinised which duly substantiated the contents of the respective replies submitted by the above two players that on the request of the Organisers (Basu Group & Basu Parivar) they merely participated in an “Opening Exhibition Mixed Doubles Match” in a “Men’s Double Tournament” held on 16th March, 2024 at Machlandpur, North 24 Parganas.

Hence, interim suspensions of Ms. Sreyasi Biswas and Ms. Priyanka Mahato stand withdrawn with immediate effect.

The Complainant should be categorically informed that henceforth no further complaint would be entertained unless submitted with detailed facts and material substantive evidences and be warned that future attempt to create any hurdle/obstacle to future of any Player would be seriously dealt with with consequential consequences.
